Mt. Wellington is a snow-covered mountain that doesn't only bring the "brr" in winter. This spectacular backdrop of Hobart emerges beautifully even with changing weather conditions. With good weather, though, comes good opportunities for mountainous activities: cycling, biking, horseback riding, and even abseiling! Go for an afternoon picnic or barbecue, but be sure to come prepared in a warm clothing as it can get very chilly when the sun sets. An observation area allows visitors to see the stunning panorama of Hobart City.
