So When Is The Best Time To Visit?

Locals will say that Summer is easily the best time to be in Adelaide. Spring also has great weather and an amazing number of outdoor festivals. With several visitors coming in, motorhomes and campgrounds get booked out quickly, so it is best to make early reservations. You can find a great place to stay in Caravan Parks In Adelaide .

Not yet sure when to visit? Here are the seasonal information per month to help you decide on when you should come over.

Summer

Though December and January are popular months for vacationing tourists, most of the festivals start in February. Rainfall is rare, although it would still be best to bring a rain jacket. The weather can also be at its warmest during Summer so make sure to bring something to keep the sun away, like hats, sunglasses and your trusty sunscreen.

Autumn

You can expect several festivals in March and April, as well as warm days and cool evenings. May is also pleasant, but be prepared for the occasional rain. A rain jacket is highly recommended, as well as nice warm clothing for the evenings.

Winter

You've probably read somewhere that June is the wettest month in Adelaide. Well, it's true. Adelaide Winters are cool and accompanied by a lot of rain. If you wish to travel in July or August, remember to bring your rain jacket or a winter jacket and as many warm clothes as possible.

Spring

Although September still gets some rain, you will be able to do a lot of outdoor adventures in October and November. This is when Spring comes in and the rainfall lessens considerably. Pleasant warm days are followed by mild evenings, so make sure you have sunscreen for the outdoors and warm clothes to sleep in.
