Located behind the dunes and fringing coastal vegetation, including coconut palms, this popular camping area offers beach walking and fishing opportunities.

A family group is up to two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of eight people.

School children on approved excursions are charged $2.90 each.

Reservations:
Book by phone on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) or Book online (most camping areas can be booked online). Booking at least six weeks in advance is recommended.

At some parks and forests, you can pay your fees at a self-registration shelter. Self-registration and on-site payment of camping fees is used in parks and forests where camper numbers are usually low (less than 40 per cent of campground capacity) and where online or phone bookings do not meet visitor needs.

Cancellations:
Bookings may be altered, subject to availability, if sufficient notice is given. Bookings can be cancelled but you may not be entitled to a refund.

Operating Hours

The park is open only in the dry season, usually from June until November. At other times the park is inaccessible due to wet season flooding.

Permits for Chili Beach can be obtained from the self-registration shelter on site. The camping area can be reached by four-wheel-drive vehicles only.
