Recently fully refurbished and under new management. Cathedrals on Fraser is the ideal location from which to base your holiday at beautiful World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. Situated on the eastern beach, close to major beauty spots such as the Coloured Sands, Cathedrals on Fraser is located 10 kilometres north of Eli creek. They are only 400 metres to 75 Mile Beach.

As Fraser Island's only private campground, Cathedrals on Fraser offers a lush and quiet setting situated on 25 acres featuring convenience store offering light meals, bottle shop, fuel, bait and ice, 24 hour power, laundry, camp kitchen and picnic areas. Guests may choose from a variety of accommodation including self contained two and three bedroom private cabins available for nightly and weekly rental (some with ensuites), canvas under canvas tents or spacious level camp sites.

Access to Cathedrals on Fraser is by four wheel drive only. Guests may bring their own 4WD or hire one from the mainland.

Cancellation Policy:
All refunds incur a $50 Cancellation Fee. Payments will only be refunded to you if we receive notification of your cancellation 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, this must be confirmed in writing. Refunds will only be processed to the original credit card or bank account in which you originally paid. Cathedrals on Fraser reserves the right to allocate your booking to anyone if you no show on the day of check in. You forfeit all nights including any refunds if you do not contact us on the day of your arrival to notify us of your delayed check in. In Peak Season you must pay in full your accommodation charges 21 days prior to your arrival otherwise we reserve the right to sell your site. You still will incur a $50 administration fee if full payment is not received. We endeavour to accommodate your needs in any way. We can’t however due to the high demand for bookings in our park hold your booking if you breach our conditions. Any changes made to the dates of your booking will incur a $20 administration change fee.
