Trees entwine their foliage over the shallow, sandy based waters, making a lovely spot for a dip or to just sit in the shade and listen to the trickling waters and birds.

Located on the Stuart Highway, 150 kilometres south of Darwin, Hayes Creek is a gateway to World War II sites and the Northern Goldfields loop with easy access to Litchfield National Park, Batchelor, Pine Creek and the Tjuwaliyn (Douglas) Hot Springs Park.
