The Sydney Harbour Bridge is considered as the exemplar of avant-garde bridge design and engineering genius in Sydney. Although much of the design is copied from other pioneering bridges, Sydney's not one to imitate. "Coathanger", as it is famously called, took eight years to build, resulting to being one of the city's iconic landmarks. Annual festivities such as New Year meant a spectacular display of fireworks in the harbour bridge. There's also the daredevil bridge climb which takes you to a stunning panorama of the city a hudred meters high above the ground!
