Day 6 Totaranui (Abel Tasman)

Day 7 Totaranui to Nelson

Take a drive along vast vineyards while in Nelson. Enjoy a leisurely tour of the local wineries and savor the region's Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. If you think you had enough, head back to the city and experience Nelson's thriving art scene. Start with the World of WearableArt & Collectable Cars Museum,  The Suter Art Gallery (The Suter Te Arotaoi o Whakatu) and the Bead Gallery. Day 8 Nelson to Picton

Do a half day Queen Charlotte Sound Tour, there are series of tours offered by local companies in Picton. Popular choices are sea kayaking and boat cruise. When you get back in Picton, visit the Edwin Fox Maritime Museum and learn about the history of the oldest surviving merchant ship in the world. Then take a break and do a DIY(do-it-yourself) walking tour around the town centre. Visit local shops and cafes along the waterfront area. Finally, end your day with a good meal at a local reastaurant and enjoy a lovely view of Picton's marina.
