Public Holidays In The USA

When planning your self-drive holiday, it would be best to remember the holidays in the US. Most motorhome rental operators and their depots (as well as banks, government offices and schools) are usually closed during these days. Only a few rental companies allow holiday pick up and returns.

MyDriveHoliday has made it easier for you to find RVs that can be rented on your chosen dates. Simply enter your pick up and return dates in the Quote Calculator on the right side of the page to get a list of available vehicles. A note will appear beside the vehicle details if the depot is closed for the holidays.

For your convenience, below are the list of Federal Public Holidays of USA:

Notes

  • If a federal holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is a holiday; if a holiday falls on a Sunday the following Monday is a holiday.

  • State holidays are holidays for the government and public sector in that state and many, but not all, private businesses will give employees the day off
