The Yeti Mountain Snowshoe Series

The Yeti Snowshoe Series comprises four snowshoeing races across British Columbia, all held at different dates. Choose from a 5km strut or a more serious 10km run. Either way, they’re a great work-out but also outrageously fun!
Although snowshoeing has been around for centuries, its serious fitness benefits have only recently been highlighted. It is also the fastest-growing winter activity in North America and its popularity only seems to be growing with the years. What’s more, despite looking a little awkward to master, snowshoeing is actually accessible to seasoned athletes and beginners alike, and can also be enjoyed by participants of all ages.
The Yeti Mountain Snowshoe Series features four separate races held throughout British Columbia with the following dates for 2009; Mount Washington on 17 January, Mount Seymour on 31 January, Grouse Mountain Resort on 14 February and Cypress Mountain on 7 March.
