The Christmas Country Fete October 30, 2008
Are you the arts and crafts type of person? Or are you bringing the kids along your trip? For over 15 years, the last thursday of October is known as The Christmas Country Fete held at Wynward in Culverden, only 80 minutes from Christchurch.
Over 200 stalls are set up in beautiful, extensive, sheltered country grounds to showcase the finest arts and crafts. In this happy garden party atmosphere and with music to entertain you, stallholders from all over the country showcase a wealth of unusual and inspirational ideas plus a host of great food and great local wine, who doesn’t love good food? Fabulous local food and wine. There are plenty of fantastic food stalls on site plus a selection of top Waipara Valley and other North Canterbury wineries will be showcased alongside the food stalls.
There is excellent access for parking, so you don’t have to worry about that. This event is dated October 30, 2008. Get set for demonstrations, early Christmas shopping at its best, live music, drinks and entertainment!
