Riverland Renaissance
The Riverland comes alive during October 2008 with a celebration of wine, food, sports, multicultural fun and celebrations. This is a 2 week long celebration promoting the region’s wine and food industry, and the River Murray. Enjoy two weeks worth of cultural celebration as the Riverland brings all elements together and invites people from other areas to share in this festivity and celebrates the region’s way of life.
Activities in the Riverland Renaissance include dinners, concerts, and other events including the very popular Riverland Wine and Food Festival. Here’s a sneak peak at the program list. How about a Day and Twilight river cruise from Berri? Or what about Riverland Wine Show Presentation Dinner? For those who love to cook, a cooking demonstration using fresh, local ingredients at the market in Berri will teach you a thing or two, and more with local and maybe international cuisines. And around the
Region there will be events hosted by cellar doors and dining venues throughout the Riverland.
This fantastic part of South Australia boasts a great lifestyle, all highlighting around Murray. Get a taste of its multicultural diversity and flair from October 4 to October 19, 2008!
