Rhythm and Vines
29 - 31 Dec 2008
Spend New Year’s Eve enjoying music and fireworks at the Rhythm and Vines festival on Gisborne’s Waiohika Estate. The Kiwi city is the closest in the world to the International Date Line and the first to welcome the New Year.
The festival is set in the Waiohika Estate vineyard, and there’s plenty of locally produced wine available to get crowds in a festive mood. The line-up’s not bad either, with performances from international artists like The Kooks and Carl Cox and home-grown talent such as Shihad.
There is a shuttle bus running between the festival grounds and nearby campsite, Gisborne beach and Gisborne city centre.
But there’s something you should know: Rhythm and Vines is pleased to introduce its onsite motor home option. The onsite motor home option is for those customers who wish to relax in their camper vans and caravans for the duration of the festival and never be more than a stones throw away from all of the action.
Have a fun New Year the Kiwi Way!
