“The campervan was great, no problems with it and everything worked as it should. The van was a bit older than we expected but perhaps it was cheaper than other companies.
The depot at Christchurch is extremely busy. They said allow an hour, allow at least two!”

“Couple issues. The rear tires on the car did not have proper tread for a campervan. We got stuck in an inch of mud because they were so bald. We had to pay $140 to get towed and spent the first night of our honeymoon stuck, and the next morning having to go to a tyre store for new tires.
We were also told the heater would run off the second battery, which was not true. It only works when plugged into a site power source. Therefore we had no heat source during the night.”

“We had issues with the fridge, caused by the battery. A new fridge was installed but the next day we had to return to the service center to get a new 12V battery. This should have happened when we got the fridge. Or better, this should have never happened in the first place. ”

“We encountered 2 rain related issues: 1. windshield wipers stopped working; 2. overhead vent leaked a bit due to heavy rain. The battery isolator switch was in vulnerable position and was accidentally moved numerous times.”

“Hi, We ended up getting the upgraded MERC SPRINTER VAN which was great as i drive one back home and was familiar with the vehicle..
The vehicle had over 200K kms on it and alittle rough on the outside but was problem free, our only issues were that the frying pan could have been better quality, the drain in the shower was alittle inconsistant with it filling up at times and thats about it..
Overall the best way to see south NZ by far
Thank you again

“Depot service was hampered by the hugely inadequate booking staff to get the booking correct. So much so that after we were each directed to a given van and loaded. We then had to swap two of the users with luggage. Wrong charges and reversals ensued also resulting in waiting for funds to be returned to my credit card. Very frustrating and a seemable zero empathy by staff on pick up.
It took over 2 hours to pick up 3 vans. Time we didn't gable on in trying to make good time that afternoon ”

“The vehicle itself was fine, however there was no windshield wiper fluid and the hose did not fit well on any of the water pumps. Also could you maybe include Salt and Pepper and Oil or something?”

“Vehicle was as we would have expected - clean and tidy. Only fault was gas bottled had not been filled. Ran out after boiling jug twice (only filled with 2 cups of water), one shower and cooked one meal of fried fish. Unfortunately it ran out when we were staying in Kenepuru Heads Sounds Foreshore and about to cook dinner so that night it was muesli for dinner. Also mean we had to leave the Sounds for Picton the next morning.”

“The smell in the toilet is really bad as the waste water system, also the kilometres of the car is too much. The break is not fast enough. ”
