At the foot of the scenic Port Hills, you'll find the historic village of Ferrymead hosting the notable Tamaki Heritage Village. "Lost in our Own Land" imparts the struggles faced by the Maoris when they were under the European settlement: the choice of embracing new culture or to preserve their ancient values.
