On the 26th until the 29th of September, experience a weekend celebration of everything the Marlborough Sounds has to offer, this weekend is your way to tap into the magic of the Sounds. All day long and into the night there is something happening for you to choose from. We suggest The Portage Party, or grabbing the Morning Big breakfast in looking at the magic Marlborough Sounds and Explore the Sounds by boat, kayak, bike, walking, sailing, fishing - for starters.
But if you’re staying longer, take note that the very first Marlborough Sounds Water and Wilderness Festival will feature 5 weekends of Marlborough food and wine, plus exciting recreational opportunities in the scenic Marlborough Sounds. Enjoy a fabulous showcase of Marlborough food and wine. And by food we mean wildfood, shellfish, mussels, salmon and wine. The second Weekend of the festival will include the Sounds Adventure Challenge. A multi adventure challenge featuring biking, seakayaking,
walking and running on the trails of the Marlborough, and that’s just for starters!
