RENTAL CALCULATIONS
- Do you have a minimum rental period?
- Do I get any refund if I return the vehicle earlier?
- How do you compute the rental days?
There is a 5 days minimum for all campervans. However, the minimum rental may increase depending on which operator and seasons. Please write us at info@campertravel.com.au to verify. Exact travel dates and locations are needed to confirm the minimum rental of your desired vehicle.
In case the vehicle is returned earlier than booked, you will not entitle for any refund on the unused days.
The rental calculation is per calendar basis. The pick up date is considered as your day 1 regardless if you pick up the vehicle the earliest or the latest possible time. The drop off date is counted as your last day.

Deposit is required to secure a booking. You can pay the required deposit through our secured site indicated on the Booking Process found in the quote emailed to you. Make sure to indicate the correct quote reference number in payment via our secured site. You may also call us through our Freecall Numbers http://www.mydriveholiday.com/contact-us/ to relay your credit card details over the phone.
A valid credit card is required to pay the needed deposit. We only accept VISA or MASTERCARD credit cards.
You can do a bank transfer provided you will pay the total charge and not only the required deposit one month prior to your pick up date. If pick up date is less than a month, a credit card is the only way to pay the deposit, otherwise no booking can be arranged. No booking for declined credit cards.
You will receive a booking confirmation via email within 24 hours (weekdays) and may take 2 days or more on the weekends after your payment for the required deposit. You need to print this document and show it at the depot upon pick up. Please take time to recheck all the details as soon as you get the booking confirmation from us.
AMENDMENT
- How can I change my booking confirmation?
- Can I change my pick up or drop off date or locations?
- Can I get any refund if the new deposit is lesser versus the original booking made?
Any amendment should be put in writing. Please email us the info you need to amend at info@campertravel.com.au. We will respond to your request within 24 hours if the amendment is possible or not. In case there is a price change for your amended date, you will receive a new quote. No amendment will be processed if Client failed to confirm the said amendment thru writing.
Yes you can always do subject to the availability of the vehicle. No amendment is treated as a cancellation. Amendment will be treated as a new booking and the higher flex rate will apply.
The difference on the will not be refunded. If the new deposit is higher than the original deposit we processed, additional deposit will be charged to the Client.
DRIVER’s LICENCE
- Are there any age restrictions to drive acampervan?
- What is the required driver’s licence?
Drivers must be 21 – 75 years upon pick up date, except for the AAM vehicle which requires a minimum age of 25 years old.
All driver’s licence must be full valid licence, in English format equivalent and held 2 years prior to pick up. An International Driver’s Licence is required if your driver’s licence is not in English (eg Spanish, German, French, etc) format. All drivers must be present upon pick up of the vehicle for the contract signing.
INSURANCE
- How can we pay the security deposit bond?
A valid credit card is required to pay the security deposit bond upon pick up. The credit card holder must be present upon pick up otherwise the credit card will not be honored. The amount is debited especially for bonds $2,500.00 – 5,000.00. It can also be an authorization imprint for lower bonds ($220.00 – 250.00 (depending which operator). All security bond will be refunded if the vehicle is returned to you when the vehicle is returned with out damage.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of booking can be done thru writing. Kindly email indicating the correct quote reference number and the reason of your cancellation.

No extra charge as long as the cancellation happened before the application of the cancellation fees. Please check your booking confirmations for the Cancellation Policy. All cancellations made within the cancellation period shall bear a cancellation fee.
