The Coromandel Dive Festival off the coast of the Coromandel Peninsula is a refreshing chance to escape the summer heat. Scuba fans can immerse themselves in underwater photography competitions, chocolate scallop hunts, the Scuba Olympics and a Roman Toga Ball.
Have a fun night out meeting up with fellow divers, or go ahead and dive at Devils Point or the Marine Reserve or other sites within Mercury Bay depending on weather and conditions. Why not bring your family and friends and go on a picnic and enjoy the games in the sunshine. A great time for divers and non divers. Or check out Buffalo Beach. Hunt for the sunken treasure from the Buffalo. Great fun for all. Spot prizes will be awarded on the day.
