The idea of starting a brewery was conceived around a campfire when Yukon Brewing owners Bob and Alan were once on a canoeing trip. The plan of making quality beer grew and eventually led to the opening of Chilkoot Brewing Co. Ltd in 1997. By the early 2000's, it came to be known as Yukon Brewing.

The brewery is proud of its Yukon roots, although its 8 signature beers can now be enjoyed in Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and even Germany. There are also seasonal brews available on tap for limited periods, so you're sure to get something strong and full-bodied any time of the year.
