“285,000km vehicle, with torn seats, a defective driver's window. It performed reasonably well, (apart from chewing up fuel). It did not let us down at any point. It was as good as could be expected for a really old shabby van, (chipped timber fittings, rusty fridge etc.).Service was ordinary. The threat of a $100 penalty if the van was not washed prior to return is ludicrous.”

“Ran ok for age f vehicle. The cup holders in the mid-seat console were too shallow and a menace. It was a waste of time putting any cups of liquid in them as the suspension and small wheels of the camper van tipped them over with the slightest bump in the road, especially over kerbs. Handled with caution on narrow country roads but good on highways. Needs a heavier mallet for putting pegs for awning in some places.”

“The vehicle was OK. We realise we booked an older van, but the fridge was really noisy, so we had to switch it off at night. This caused problems when there was no alternative fridge at our campground. It would have been better to know this in advance. Also, the passenger side window won't close completely when it has been down for a while (this appears to be an intermittent problem). But overall everything was OK.”

“Vehicle travelled very well, had no mechanical issues at all. I know you get what you pay for, & we went cheaply, but were surprised that the van interior was so tired & worn looking. Seats were ripped & frayed, a seat cover would have made it look nicer, rust was showing thru in places. I pointed out to the manger a few places that needed screws or fixing. ”

“The vehicle was everything we wished for in general, clean, comfortable and well equipped but there were a couple of things about it that were either not working, or, needed attention- The Air conditioner did not work. There was excessive play in the steering wheel. Although assured at pick up that the fuel tank was full, we found on filling the vehicle that it was only 3/4, this shortage was adjusted on our return by a prompt refund- Thank you. All in all a very good and reliable vehicle. ”

“The key was a little busted so we could only open the door from the passenger side and close from the driver side. The back sometimes wouldn't open at all. The table inside the vehicle was super unstable and putting hot drinks on it was sometimes dangerous as it was easily spilled. Not very safe. Other then that everything was OK. The guy at the depot was nice and gave us a ride to the airport.”

“Van was 2002 model, 240,000km, tired and shabby, brakes shuddered. Bed cushions were so thin we had to buy an air mattress to get a good night's sleep. The fridge was three way with gas option which did not work. We were on a non powered site and not driving long distances so the fridge was useless. On pick up it was suggested that the gas worked but took some time to take effect. A modern radio was fitted - couldn't work out how to tune it. The van was as advertised but not worth the price. ”
