The ASB Queenstown JazzFest is one of Queenstown’s premier events. Celebrate ten days of live music in God’s amph-itheater. Be dazzled with jazz, and jazz-influenced styles for everyone, young and old. Queensland gives you a taste of quality music and entertainment ranging from traditional jazz to the blues, from jazz rock to soul or fusion and hip hop. There will be performances, concerts and themed events in downtown Queenstown or amongst the vines in Gibbston Valley, the festival delivers a unique experience for everyone to enjoy.
Each year the caliber of performers sets a new benchmark for the event, with the majority of ticketed events a sellout. Up and coming young musicians are given their chance to star through the AJ Hackett Bungy Jumpstart youth jazz competition, open to young musicians from around the country. The winner of the solo section will head to Aspen to develop new skills and improve their musicianship. Free workshops from leading jazz exponents and master classes from top international tutors are also on
offer.
