Australia Willunga Almond Blossom Festival

Almonds, one of the many agricultural products for the families in the Willunga area. Many almond varieties has sprouted from the district. Plus, the almond cracker, designed, built and patented originally by the local almond grower G. Herriott in the late 1940’s.

Now, the almond has become a source for festivities!

The main fair days of this coming Saturday, 26 July and Sunday, 27 July will highlight the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival. For thirty-nine years, Willunga has been hosting this event and it always includes theatrical performances, art exhibits, the famous Farmers Market from 8 in the morning till noon, almond blossom tours. Savour the fresh new season almonds on sale. This year, the Golden Wattle Catwalk will be featured with a fashion parade from various performers! Concerts, circus performers, monster cars, fire works, parades, and more fun-filled entertainment for family and friends!
